| It is with much sorrow that Coosa Lad, better known as Sherman, was laid to rest on August 17th, 2008, due to complications of an abscess. | |
| He was one of the sweetest, kindest, most gentle stallions one could ever hope to have in their lives - a great one that comes along once in a lifetime. We were lucky enough to have him in our lives for six incredible, but short years. For those who knew and loved him, it was an honor to be around such a remarkable horse. He had the heart of a champion, and, although he was never shown, he has left his mark in the horse world with numerous, well known progeny, in many different countries, in the AQHA, APHA, ApHC and PHBA. May he forever live through his offspring and in our hearts…..on to the great green pastures that await you my friend and may you always find peace. | |
